There have been many highlights and milestones over the last twelve months of innovation – working closely with our clients, partners and the wider global innovation ecosystem, we’ve made great progress towards our goal of building the world’s best innovation management platform.

The most anticipated Idea Drop roll-out this year
We onboarded many new clients in 2019 across various verticals such as finance, law, media and technology. We also continued to be the partner of choice for UK public sector organisations.
Idea Drop were selected as the best innovation management partner for Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) which is one of the largest mental health providers in the country.
BSMSHFT rolled out Idea Drop and launched an innovation initiative to gather views from their staff across the organisation, as well as from other stakeholders, to inform their refreshed strategy for 2020 and beyond.

Key product updates of 2019
Based on ongoing user and client feedback, we were continually updating our platform with new improvements, features and releases. In 2019 we improved our mobile app to help you reach your innovation goals faster and make always-on innovation easier than ever.

Idea Drop acknowledged in the latest Gartner report – for the second time running
Idea Drop were recognised for the second time in Gartner’s highly authoritative Market Guide for Innovation Management Tools. We are delighted by this as it gives us, our clients and our future partners confidence in our technology and our ability to drive impactful and meaningful innovation across the globe. The most inspiring Innovation Breakfast session
In 2019 we hosted 6 live Innovation Breakfast events that took place in the most amazing venues all across London. We had a pleasure to partner with companies like Amazon, Waitrose, DWF, PwC, Pinsent Masons and BDO. Our events were regularly attended by innovation leaders from organisations like Aldi, Cancer Research, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Vodafone, M&C Saatchi and many others.
One of the first sessions of 2019 was led by DWF and our attendees had loads of fun while solving their business problems with the help of LEGO bricks.

The most impactful public sector event
Earlier this year we partnered with Amazon and Chaucer for our 2019 Public Sector Innovation Summit, which was designed to connect, inspire and showcase the best innovation projects and initiatives across public sector organisations. It’s was a full-packed day of inspiring presentations, case studies and interactive sessions led by industry experts, all framed within a compelling agenda, networking, keynote speakers and panel chats.

Idea Drop were selected to join Momentum Acceleration Programme
Over 1,000 startups have been through Momentum London’s rigorous application process with just a handful being accepted to join their programme and we were delighted that Idea Drop was selected as one of them! Over the course of programme we’ve met and showcased our idea management solution to many leading global organisations such as Trainline, Microsoft, Schroders and many others. Our team were overwhelmed by all the positive feedback we received after the programme.
Idea Drop announced as finalist at the World Class Policing Awards
This year we were announced as finalists at the inaugural World Class Policing Awards 2019 for our partnership with Kent Police and the outstanding value and impact it delivers for the police force. Read about it here.
